Rusty Gaillard ditched his high-profile career at Apple to forge a new path that brought him more happiness and personal (and professional) satisfaction. Now, as a professional coach, he’s showing other people in tech how they can do it too. In today’s episode, Rusty reveals what we can do to upgrade our own paths and take our lives to the next level. We also dispel the myths behind overworking your way to success, and unveil exercises that will help anyone find the courage to seek something new.
Rusty Gaillard works at the intersection of high tech & Inner Tech, helping ambitious people achieve their next level of success by upgrading their Inner Technology.
From an engineering degree at Princeton, to his first job at GE under Jack Welch, to a Stanford MBA, to the Worldwide Director of Finance at Apple, Rusty has walked the traditional path of success. Along the way, he learned that traditional success is not the same as being successful in life. Discovering and building a successful life required upgrades to your Inner Tech – the beliefs, thoughts, and habits that create your life experience.
For Rusty, those operating system upgrades came through challenge and opportunity: a voluntary demotion to spend more time at home, a divorce, and leaving his 25-year corporate career to become a coach. Using a repeatable process to upgrade your InnerTech, Rusty now helps others define and achieve holistic success in life, on their terms.
