As a creative, feeling successful often comes from monetary rewards and publications on a grand scale. But what happens when that success unexpectedly comes to a halt? Do you retreat? Or do you continue to fight?

For Suzanne Kingsbury, a creative writer and published author, giving up was not an option. However, desperation played a huge factor in her entrepreneurial endeavor. So what was the driving force behind her current success, which has been thriving for over 18 years?

In this episode of Access to Anyone, host Michael Roderick sits down with Suzanne Kingsbury, author and the Founder of Gateless Writing, to discuss her literary arts organization. Suzanne talks about the origin of Gateless Writing, her methodology of teaching and charging for services, the lack of support creatives face, and more.
